WOMEN's ministry

The Women's Ministry at Hamilton Baptist Church seeks to bring women together in all of life's stages, helping to develop their God-given potential in their homes, church and community.  Our goal is to share the love of Jesus, keeping the balance between being ministered to and ministering to others, all for the glory of God and the building of the body.  "And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."

(Hebrews 10:24-25)

WOMEN'S COFFEE AND POTLUCK BRUNCH: Ladies, join us from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 30, in the Fellowship Hall to help stuff plastic eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt Outreach, which will be Saturday, April 6. Bring a favorite brunch dish to share, or just come for the fellowship. Sign-up here or at the Welcome Center.

EASTER EGG HUNT: Women’s Ministry is once again sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt as an outreach to the community on Saturday, April 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Bring your children, your grand-kids, or your neighbor’s kids for some fun.  There will be activity stations with a gospel emphasis as well as separate egg hunts for PreK (3-4 yr olds)  and K-Grade 5 (5- 11 yr olds.)   Flyers will be available at the Welcome Desk.  Why not take this opportunity to invite someone to hear about King Jesus?  All visitors will be eligible to win a beautiful Easter Basket.  Sign-up at the Welcome Center or online here.  If you have an Easter basket, please bring it.  Otherwise bags will be provided.

WEDNESDAY MORNING WOMEN'S PRAYER:  Share in the ministry of intercessory prayer with other women from the church.  All women are encouraged to drop in anytime for a few minutes or an hour!  The group meets weekly at 8 a.m. in the Media Center.  Contact Marjorie Waggy at (540) 882-3082 for more information.

GLEANERS: Led by Esther Stratton in the Fireplace Room.  To aid in the study of scripture, the class is currently using a topical study guide published quarterly by LifeWay.

GOODWILL:  Led by Ginny Clemens and Linda Hackney in the Cry Room next to the sanctuary.  They like to encourage discussion and interaction with each other.  The ladies are very faithful in their attendance and participation.
